We hold driver CPC Courses in Gloucester approximately every 5 weeks with venues such as Badgeworth Village Hall or Churchdown Community Centre, you can find our list of courses by visiting our Course Diary page or by clicking on the link below. These course can be booked individually on a daily basis or you can book a whole 35hr course in one go, if you do book a 35hr course we have such a large portfolio of courses you are guaranteed not to do the same course twice!

More About Our Drivers CPC Consortium

The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence has been introduced to the UK through EU Directive 2009/59. It is a qualification that all lorry, coach and bus drivers will need if they wish to drive professionally for a living. It has been introduced to improve the skills and knowledge of professional drivers.

Who needs to do it

PCV Drivers

From 10th September 2008 all commercial PCV drivers will need to complete 35 hours of training before 9th September 2013.

The 35 hours can be split into 1 day sessions lasting 7 hours each.

LGV Drivers

From 10th September 2009 all commercial LGV drivers will need to complete 35 hours of training before 9th September 2014.

The 35 hours can be split into 1 day sessions lasting 7 hours each.
